Manual Mode

1. Search for your desired location in the "Enter Address, Zip Code, or City" field and press Enter.

2. In Step 1 of the sidebar that appears, select Jobs.

3. If you are in Manual Mode, the next step is Step 2 of the sidebar, and you will select the Data Type you want to view. For this tutorial, let's click Job Growth.

4. Let's set the Time Frame field to search 2020-2022 to compare how the job market has changed.

5. You can only view this data type by City. Let's press Generate Map.

6. In Step 3 of the sidebar, you can view figures like the Percent of Growth and Total Job Growth.

7. By scrolling down on the sidebar, a multi-line chart illustrates the growth in job industries over the selected timeframe. Hover and Scroll over a line to isolate the industry and track its numbers.

8. Below the line graph, a data table explains the growth by industry, comparing the beginning of the timeframe to the end and calculating its growth.

9. The map will light up green or red depending on if the city is ultimately gaining or losing jobs. The Columbus market is gaining more jobs than it is losing.

10. That's it! You know how to use Jobs Data! You can now click on "New Search" to continue your market research.

Speed Mode

11. If you want to research faster, toggle the button here to enter Speed Mode which skips Step 2 and searches with your default or saved settings.
