Manual Mode

1. Search for your desired location in the "Enter Address, Zip Code, or City" field and press Enter.

2. In Step 1 of the sidebar that appears, select Population.

3. If you are in Manual Mode, the next step is Step 2 of the sidebar, and you will select the Data Type you want to view. For this tutorial, let's click Population Growth.

4. Let's set the Time Frame field to search 2017-Current Data so we can compare the recent growth.

5. You can view the Data Boundary by City or City By Zip Code. Let's leave view City By Zip Code and press Generate Map.

6. In Step 3 of the sidebar, a line chart illustrates the growth in population over the selected timeframe.

7. On a red to green scale, the map is colored so you can easily compare the dominant growing areas in the city. Hover your mouse over the map and see their percentages.

8. Add the map to your layers so you can stack this data and hide/unhide it.

9. That's it! You know how to use Population Data! You can now click on "New Search" to continue your market research.

Speed Mode

10. If you want to research faster, toggle the button here to enter Speed Mode which skips Step 2 and searches with your default or saved settings.
